Since Leh is located at a high altitude of 11,500 ft, the day is reserved for acclimatization to help your body adjust to the weather and altitude. After breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Sham Valley, one of Ladakh’s most scenic regions. Visit the beautiful Alchi Monastery, famous for its ancient Buddhist art and architecture. Continue to Sangam, the spectacular confluence point of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers. Experience the mystery of Magnetic Hill, seek blessings at Gurudwara Pathar Sahib, and explore the Hall of Fame Museum dedicated to Indian soldiers. Return to Leh for an overnight stay
After breakfast, embark on an exciting journey to Nubra Valley through Khardung La Pass, one of the world’s highest motorable roads at 18,380 ft. Enjoy stunning views of snow-covered mountains and valleys throughout the drive. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel or camp and relax. After breakfast, proceed to the picturesque village of Turtuk, a hidden gem opened to tourists only in 2010. After breakfast, drive towards the world-famous Pangong Lake located at an altitude of 14,500 ft. After breakfast, begin your return journey to Leh via the scenic route through Puga Valley, famous for its sulphur hot springs. Continue through Polakongka Pass, visit the beautiful Tsokar Lake, and cross Tanglang La Pass, one of the highest motorable mountain passes in the world at 17,585 ft.
