Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival in Guwahati | Transfer to Shillong

Upon arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, meet our representative and begin your scenic journey to Shillong, often referred to as the "Scotland of the East."

En route, stop at the picturesque Umiam Lake, a massive man-made reservoir surrounded by pine-covered hills. The stunning landscape makes it a perfect photography spot.

After reaching Shillong, check into your hotel. If time permits, visit the beautiful Ward’s Lake and the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians. In the evening, stroll through the bustling Police Bazaar, famous for local handicrafts, street food, and shopping.

Day 2 – Shillong – Cherrapunji Excursion

After breakfast, proceed to Cherrapunji (Sohra), one of the wettest places on Earth.

En route, visit the beautiful Elephant Falls, one of Meghalaya’s most photographed waterfalls. Continue your drive through scenic valleys and viewpoints.

Visit the famous Duwan Sing Syiem View Point offering spectacular panoramic views of the surrounding hills. Explore the stunning Seven Sisters Falls and the magnificent Nohkalikai Falls, the tallest plunge waterfall in India.

Later, enjoy a walk through the fascinating Mawsmai Cave, known for its naturally formed limestone structures. Continue to Dainthlen Falls, associated with local Khasi legends.

Return to Shillong in the evening.

Day 3 – Mawlynnong Village and Dawki Excursion

After breakfast, proceed to Mawlynnong, famously known as the Cleanest Village in Asia.

Explore the beautifully maintained village, interact with locals, and learn about Khasi culture and traditions. Climb the Sky Walk for breathtaking views of the surrounding greenery and the plains of Bangladesh.

Continue towards the Living Root Bridge at nearby Riwai Village. Witness this remarkable bio-engineering wonder created from the roots of rubber trees, which continue to grow and strengthen over time.

Later, drive to Dawki, home to the famous Umngot River. Marvel at the crystal-clear waters that make boats appear as though they are floating in the air.

Visit the India-Bangladesh border and enjoy the serene surroundings. Guests may opt for a boat ride on the Umngot River at an additional cost.

Return to Shillong.

Day 4 – Shillong to Kaziranga National Park

After breakfast, check out and drive towards Kaziranga National Park in Assam.

Enjoy the scenic drive through the lush countryside of Northeast India. Upon arrival, check into your wildlife resort.

Kaziranga National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of India's finest wildlife reserves. It is globally renowned for protecting the endangered One-Horned Rhinoceros and is home to elephants, wild buffaloes, swamp deer, tigers, and hundreds of bird species.

Relax and enjoy the natural surroundings.

Day 5 – Elephant Safari and Jeep Safari in Kaziranga

Wake up early for an unforgettable Elephant Safari through the grasslands of Kaziranga (subject to forest department allocation and availability).

Later, embark on an exciting Jeep Safari in the Central Range of Kaziranga. Explore the rich biodiversity of the park and look out for rhinos, elephants, wild boars, deer, and a variety of birds.
